Fog, J/D drabble, PG-13

FOG

The kitchen tiles were cool against the soles of his feet. His hands braced against the counter, encircling the gurgling coffee maker. His head sagged, eyes closed, mind drifting drowsily.

 

Footsteps raised his lids to half-mast. He felt a hand at the base of his spine, sliding underneath his tee-shirt. His lips curved as his eyes narrowed to mere slits. He grunted.

 

The hand crept downward, into his shorts, cupping his rear. His smile broadened as his eyes slid completely shut. A mouth nuzzled at the side of his neck as strong fingers squeezed the flesh they clasped.

 

“Morning, sleepyhead.”

It was mostly fun. Shepherded 5 12 and 13 year olds around the Galleria (honkin' huge over-priced mall) for the afternoon and 'endured' dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with them and one of the other moms. We decided the beach would be a better next outing since we could use Super Soakers on them with impunity.

Sadly, I was on my feet far too long and felt like crap today, but them's the brakes. :-)

Ah, a kindred spirit. Somehow Cujo wound up in there, too, but there's a cat sleeping on it, so I don't dare put it back on the shelf. (The kidling has discovered King. ;-)
