WEATHERING CONDITIONS

Snow fell, frosting his eyelashes, evaporating against the scalding heat of his cheeks.

Snow in the desert.

The top of his head cool; the heat of the sun emanating from the sands beneath his boots.

Winter-dark now; distant stars pinpricks of ice in a clear sky. Blinding, beautiful. Falling towards him, raining down on him.

The desert refused to give in to the night and the cold. His limbs were burning, his skin damp with sweat. He was suffocating in the cool, crisp air.

Daniel awoke, gasping, throwing back the covers.

The perils of sleeping with Jack O’Neill, human furnace.

hehehe! I should hope not.

I's probably just as well I'm not married any more. My ex was a furnace, too. I'd probably die in my sleep from heat prostration. ;-)

Gah! The perils of sleeping with men! At least Jack didn't have him in the unbreakable octopus grasp. ;-)

Isn't he just? *pants with lust* [livejournal.com profile] paian shared the behind-the-scenes clip and caps. Nnnnggh! It is so unfair that CJ and AT and MS were all put into sleeveless tanks and other sex appeal outfits, but not RDA. I want equal opportunity objectification!

You know, SERIOUSLY. I find the man sexy as hell, even if he is older than my father (admittedly, not by much, but still).

He was decent enough looking when younger, but yeah, now? Holy god.

It's not just that the silver hair REALLY works for him, but some guys just get this incredible looking facial definitions as age adds character to their expression. And he is TOTALLY one of them

This made me giggle:

The perils of sleeping with Jack O’Neill, human furnace.

But I bet that the benefits outweigh any discomforts Daniel may have to suffer. :)
