Belated Birthday drabble, 'In This Tender Moment', J/D, PG-13

Happy belated birthday to jd_junkie, and apologies for writing depressing stuff!  I think this should make up for it.  :-)

IN THIS TENDER MOMENT

 

Daniel lifted Jack’s hand and kissed the palm. He curled it into a loose fist and softly kissed each knuckle. Jack’s eyelids flickered and he sighed.

 

Daniel laced their fingers together and remembered doing the same thing minutes ago as he’d lain atop Jack, sweating and gasping, and released his seed deep inside his body. “That was wonderful, Jack,” he whispered now. “I didn’t know…I had no idea what it would be like. I’ve never felt so…thank you. Thank you so much.”

 

Jack turned his head, parted his lips, and snored.

 

Daniel collapsed, snickering quietly, hand still twined with Jack’s.

What ... you mean there's more trauma ahead? More angst? More *gasp* rainy days and Mondays??? Oh, go on then ... you know I love that, too. I've been known to put them through the wringer myself on more than one occasion. ;-)

Seems to me if the other Jack ever found out about *this* things might be a bit brighter for our Daniel. And the same goes for the other Daniel and Jack :) Can there be an accident with the security tapes getting delivered to the wrong office with a copy getting stuffed into the wrong backpack? ;)

Heh. I've decided it's much better to think of both sets of J/Ds as Alternates. Our boys are doing just fine. *hugs them tight* Of course I want them all to be happy - everywhere. *is wistful*

P.S. I've been a lurker on your stories for a long time. You are a fantastic writer. And no matter the story you alway write the boys so well. Just thought I'd praise you and build up your ego a little bit. I'll go back to lurking now. ;)
