Daniel snickered. “We’ll drop them both. Wouldn’t want you winding up lopsided.”
“You’re too good to me.”
“I intend to be even better to you in the New Year. I have lots of plans for us.”
“Roll on, midnight,” Jack murmured, leaning in for a kiss.
