Brilliant. Such depth of emotion. I'm thrilled to see that you're bringing this new art form to the J/D side of things.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

OMG so awesome! You posted them! You so rock!

Can we hope you'll be completing the trilogy soon? Because I'm on the edge of my *seat*! I really think you've made a major breakthrough here in your writing and I'm just thrilled to have been associated with it in my small way!

I love-love-love your subtle characterization of Jack and Daniel here, and the way you show us Jack's anguish at Daniel's Ascension, and, well, your second story is just THE best depiction of Ascension-and-Return that I've seen! The understated way you contrast the incorporeal and physical planes is just breathtaking! *More!*

The homage to post-modern French poetry is subtly beautiful as it echoes Morrison's commentaries. The visual component provides a haunting counterpoint to the intellectualized surreality of de Chirico's paintings. The author further proves her mastery of the form as her breathtakingly emotive, yet spare, style encourages the reader to meditate on the nature of life and death but does so without impinging on cultural taboos.

(I could go on, but I'd need something stronger than coffee...)

I hadn't even heard of the kerfluffle until after I saw this. This works even without the history. :-)

Oh what you do in your own LJ is totally fine, I mean, it's your own virtual home, right? And you can completely post like fifteen times a day here if you want, no harm no foul. So please-please-please: let us know what happens next!

*loves*

And that shows us once more that with these two it's the fewer the better. Really, I can't think of any other pairing where so much can be said in just four words.

Glad IG made you do it. ;)

All it needs now is a sound track by Philip Glass.

Minimalism: where the name is longer than the work.

[livejournal.com profile] ivorygates has a *lot* to answer for. :-);-)

I can't be the only one who immediately had an image of two Great White Sharks playing tennis just off the Great Barrier Reef.

This is what happens when I'm bored.

The other thing that happens is I think the image I posted is absolutely the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

Well, sadly, I missed all the kerfuffle before it was taken down *damn this flu!*, but I've always admired economy of word and these are so precise yet evocative. Reminds of me the white spaces in certain artworks. You are an artiste!

I think it screams for a trilogy. And then your SGA/McShep version too. :o)
