Character meme!

1) Make a list of 10 characters.

2) Assign each character a number.

3) Without telling anyone who's on the list or the character's assigned number, get questions from your flist about what they'd like to know about them. e.g. "If 3 and 4 were trapped in a cave together with only a blanket and a toothpick, what would they do?" (The more random the better!)

4) Post the answers and who was who on the list.

I am sure to fail miserably at this, but maybe it will be a good exercise.  And hopefully fun for you guys!  Fire questions when ready!

6. is hosting an informal dinner party (could be outdoor). All the other numbers are invited. Who shows up, what excuses (if any) to the non-attendees give and who stays over for a night of hot nasty Iloveyoutodeath sex?

1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9 all show up. 7's hoping for some hot babes, 8's mainly there for the food, 2's just a nice friendly person, 9 loves parties and will try to be the center of attention, but 1 will probably do a better job at that without even trying.

4 didn't want to come anyway, but uses the excuse that the food will not be vegetarian. 5 is a crankypants and said no, but may show up later just to harass 2. 10 just can't spare the time.

3 stays the night.

Now I can't wait to see who all these characters are. ;-)

My kid's drama class plays an improv game called "Party". Each person on the team (troupe, actually - the class has three) is given a slip of paper by the teacher except for the one who's hosting the party. The slips give the student a 'thing' their character has to do or be (paranoid; ravenous; allergic to everything; emo; afraid of chair legs; strangely attracted to the color purple; etc) and the host has to pick up on whatever it is and adopt the characteristics of each 'guest' as they come in. The object is for the host to figure out each guests' 'thing' and the guest has to try and express their 'thing' without making it too easy for the host.

And I don't know why I'm blathering on about that, except that the whole set up reminded me of it. ;-)

Think I've seen something like that on "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" Sounds like fun. :-)

I think junior high school drama classes take most of their improv games from WLiA. :-)
