Corin Nemec in Hidden Secrets (2006) on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.  Reading the Bible and finding verses that give him strength to overcome the vice that he's struggled with for half his life: homosexuality.  And we all thought Mansquito was the nadir of his career....

Corin is gay? Why didn't I already know that? Oh, wait... is this just a character in a movie? I need more coffee.

And, yes, I am glossing over the religiosity. Maybe I can show him where he can really find god. *g*

Now, go get some sleep... and {{{hugs}}}

Does he have kids? Kids can get expensive. Paychecks are good things, though, even without them. It's just that people tend to sacrifice things, like their, y'know, pride, for their kids when they wouldn't for themselves.

(*HUGS*, hon. Be good to yourself.)

Oh, yeah. It's one thing to hang onto your dignity knowing you can always live in your car. :-) But with kids? Not if there's ANYTHING else you can do.

The irony of this, of course, is that he's a Scientologist.

I can't believe I don't have a Jonas icon.

Well, obviously they had to PAY someone to say stuff like that because no real 'Christian' would dare be like gay or anything, right?

If that's a vice, I need to get out more...and get some new vices since it sounds like they've got some great new ones!

Wait, wait. I'm confused.

He's gay? Or he had to play a gay person? Or both? And it's a VICE???

This makes me happy, once again, that I only shook hands with the man last year at D*C, and didn't pay for his autograph. Euch. He can wallow in his "remorse" and sell bananas on a street corner to pay for his kids.

I knew he was a Scientologist. Doesn't mean he doesn't think homosexuality is a vice, or WHATEVER.

He's very religious. And stuff. About his scientology. *headdesk*

Oh, the whole thing just makes me tired. And my headache worse. And my eyes goggled, too, and now they hurt.

Train wreck! Yeah!

Since when was homosexuality a "vice" that you need to be "cured" from? Damn Americans, and their conservatism, euch!!!

And not eating shellfish.

Christians are entitled to their views, but it's a bit offensive to gay people when people make movies suggesting gayness is a question of morality that should be tempered by abstinence and scripture, like it's a question of alcoholism or something. That's just wrong, and we're tired of hearing it. I know a lot of gay people, and not one of us think that we chose to be gay, or that we need to be "cured".

Clearly Nemec agrees with the conservative view or he wouldn't have chosen to do the movie.
