melayneseahawk asked for Jack/Daniel, trapped off-world.   (Hope this improves your day a little!)

The climate was temperate; the sun warmed but didn’t burn; fish and fruit were plentiful. No predators so far, but Jack insisted they stay close at night, just in case. So they slept together on a bed of sweet-smelling moss, and Daniel’s allergies were untroubled.

 

There were five moons, and Jack would try to sketch out their orbits in the dirt. He gave them names, letting Daniel make suggestions which he mocked and then ignored.

 

Until one night, when Marge and little Maggie hung low in the sky, and the biggest, closest moon underwent a name change.

 

Homer became Eros.
