sidI don't know what's going on, but there are police cars and vans all over the neighborhood, and two officers on foot cut through my back yard!
(I guess they didn't read the little signs TruGreen left, saying to keep off the lawn until sunset tomorrow...)
ETA: and then there were wailing sirens and I saw about five police cars head north, so apparently there won't be any shootouts on my block. Whew!
