She's not a slasher, but she's okay in spite of that.  *g*  She loves to read scifi, rent movies, run, drink red wine.  Doesn't watch TV these days, but she's seen the first three seasons of Stargate SG-1 (thanks to yours truly) and don't anyone dare spoil her for anything that comes later!  She's an atheist, and (as you will quickly see) a Packers fan, although I don't know if there's any correlation between those two things...

I have a friend in Houston - just talked to him on the phone Sunday, but we didn't talk about the weather. *g* He's going to be in Chicago over Christmas and New Year's and I hope to get to see him on my way to or from Wisconsin. It definitely won't be anywhere near 78 degrees.

I actually met him thru the younger sister of shep0709, coincidentally! She's a flautist, and he's a pianist and was assigned to accompany her when she played at a contest in Denton a couple of years back.

Small world, isn't it? hsapiens and I are planning to try and meet up as soon as we can both find a spare hour. Looks like we live within about five miles of each other.

Oh, he's about 5 or 8 miles the other direction. :-) I like Montrose, but the schools I wanted were over here by Reliant. ;-)
