Jack/Sam that works for me

It was 3 am, I couldn't sleep, I popped in a DVD, and I was swept up in the Jack/Sam goodness.

What difference does it really make that they're both in the military? They risk their lives every day and they deserve to snatch what happiness they can.

So doin' it.

Of course, Sam might be doin' it with just about anybody. For instance, the cute blond kid in the glasses who's such a terrible flirt. OK, he might be doin' it with just about anybody, too.

And then there's their favorite enemy, who Sam just keeps releasing even though they capture him practically every other week. He and Sam are always making eyes at each other - could be something there.

*sigh* I love The Rat Patrol.

When I was in jr high, my teacher (A very cute, Mr. Anderson!) handed everyone a full page, extremely detailed, small-print list of instructions – and 20 minutes to complete it. One of the items, maybe 10 out of 40, was to write your name on the board. When the time was up, I was one of the few people who hadn’t done anything. Most people happily had their name on the board.

Prior to getting the assignment, our teacher had lectured us on how important it was to read through instructions before doing anything. The last item on the list said, “Don’t do anything on this list. You got an A.”

I remembered the lesson. Or I remembered way too much about Rat Patrol! :D (I haven’t seen for decades.)
