“I always knew we’d wind up like this.” Blair sighed happily.

“Always?” Jim said skeptically. “I think that’s a slight exaggeration, Chief.”
“No, seriously, man! From the minute we met! You didn’t feel anything?” Blair looked a little hurt.
“The minute we met? No. And neither did you.” Jim gave him a knowing look.
“Well,” Blair admitted, “I guess maybe it was the second time we met.” He grinned slowly. “Probably about the time you slammed me up against the wall of my office…”
Jim rolled over and pressed Blair down into the pillows. “You smelled so good,” he growled, eyes glittering.
Nervousness, a little fear, excitement. Growing arousal, Blair remembered. No wonder Jim was so certain that it had been their second meeting that had led to this moment of post-coital bliss. “How do I smell now?” he asked, feeling his heartbeat beginning to accelerate.
Jim’s head lowered as he buried his nose against the damp skin of Blair’s neck and inhaled deeply. Blair felt a shiver run through Jim’s body. “You smell like me,” Jim said hoarsely. His eyes met Blair’s. “You smell like me.”
Blair nodded fervently and pulled Jim to him, crushing their lips together. When they broke for air he put his mouth to Jim’s ear and told him with hot whispered words just how much he’d loved hearing that, and just what it was doing to him, knowing that his skin was saturated with Jim’s scent.
When they kissed again, Jim began to moan.
It was a long time later before he stopped.
