Bend, don’t break.  Don’t let them see how close...

 

Bone-exhausted.  But there’s no rest.  Don’t break.  There’s still…

 

Daniel deserves a medal.  If I live long enough…

 

Don’t.  I will live, and I’ll make sure...

 

Most days, he’s the only thing standing between us and death, and I know it if nobody else does.  I see what it does to him, one piece of his soul at a time.  I knew he had courage, but I never realized how much. 

 

Or how much I love him.

 

We haven’t seen him for three days now.  He’s all alone with that monster.

Well, not entirely useless. It was good enough to get me into the Jeopardy contestant pool. But they never called me to be on the show. :-( I shouldn't have told them I planned to be the next Ken Jennings. Live and learn.
