'Breaking', drabble, sequel to 'Brittle', R

Here is 'Brittle', Jack's POV, 100 words, where SG-1 is being held captive.  These drabbles are very dark.

And here is Daniel's POV, 100 words

BREAKING

Daniel thinks that he’d be better off dead, but so far it’s just an observation, not a plan of action. 

 

He knows he saves lives. Two guards have told him so.  Only one of them seemed disappointed; the other almost looked admiring, but Daniel is beyond expecting to find allies.

 

If Serrim’s busy with Daniel, he’s not off torturing and killing his prisoners. Daniel clings to that. “Not that I’m a fucking martyr,” he might say, if his mouth weren’t otherwise occupied.

 

The beatings have gotten worse, but he’s not paraded naked before the others anymore. Before Jack. 

 

Small mercies.

Of course, my sadistic little mind wants to see what happens when poor Daniel does have to face Jack while accepting his tormentor's attentions passively. And if Jack can keep himself from trying to kill Serrim when he sees it.

I'd also LOVE to see you go back to when this "bargain" was struck. The moment of choice for Daniel.

And of course, Daniel and Jack's inevitable (please, God, I hope it's inevitable) reunion. *grin*

But mostly, I'm going to kneel at your feet and beg for whatever piece of inspiration hits you! Just PLEASE continue this 'verse!

God, it's just so hard to be coherent here. My mind is blown. Again. I can't believe how much you are able to convey in such a short piece. The emotions are dead on. Your Daniel voice is perfect.

I'm so impressed. So, so impressed.

Ah, well as you know by now, I did continue it! But I leaped right to the rescue, of course. I just couldn't bear to make them suffer any more, I guess. :-)
