Did you feel the earthquake??
I remember experiencing 2 earthquakes in NY when I lived there. Kinda reminds you how small we are.

I thought my waterbed was falling apart at first. It was making creaking noises and vibrating. Then I woke up a little bit more and realized it was an earthquake. About 10 seconds later I was back asleep. :-)

I think the first earthquake I ever felt was when I was visiting my grandparents, over near Buffalo NY. That was probably in the late 1960's.

My dog woke me up before one in NY. Both of those were early in the morning too. Hmm, do all earthquakes happen in the morning?

No, they can happen any time. I may have been woken up once before, but other times have been throughout the day.
